Controlled HSI curriculum

Recognition, response, and lifesaving action

Recognize warning signs

Build situational awareness and identify behaviors or conditions that may signal an escalating threat.

Make immediate decisions

Practice the AVIRT response framework, including decisions to escape, evade, or take protective action.

Control severe bleeding

Develop practical skills for direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet use while emergency responders are en route.
